Lacrosse has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I was born, my great-grandfather John Dodge Barton gifted to me his lacrosse stick from his college days at Union College to me and said "This boy is going to share my love of lacrosse", or so the story goes. He was correct. Although I have never won a State Championship during my high school career, my love for the sport continues to grow with every game, tournament and clinic I take part in. I am excited at the idea of extending my lacrosse career by playing at the college level.
I have been fortunate enough to be part of not only wonderful school programs, but also club lacrosse. My family has made many financial and personal sacrifices because they know how passionate I am and I appreciate every moment. By playing lacrosse I have learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership . I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. As a multi-position athlete who will do what it takes for the success of the team, I know that I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
