John Quay '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is John Quay, I am a junior at Seaholm High School in Birmingham, Michigan. I have enthusiastically participated in organized lacrosse programs for seven years, both on school and club teams. I am also a member of the Varsity hockey team for my school, but my true passion is lacrosse. I would love to continue playing lacrosse at the collegiate level when my secondary school career is complete, and am working hard to make that goal a reality. I play attack predominately, but have also excelled as a mid-fielder. I have been the co-captain or captain of several of my teams in recent years and been described by my coaches as a leader on and off the field. I am currently six feet tall and weigh about 150 pounds. My grade point average is 3.70, and I am on the advanced mathematics track, as well as an AP oriented academic schedule. I would like to follow a business/engineering based college curriculum, but am only beginning to formulate my future higher educational goals. I consider myself a motivated student and athlete, and look forward to offering my obsessive commitment to a college program that feels I can positively contribute to its ultimate success, both athletically and academically.
