Whether at school or during training, there is nothing I won't stop at to ensure perfection. As a student-athlete-leader, I work constantly (waking 18-19 hours of the day), training in the mornings and at night while working to maintain a massive array of extracurriculars, youth group service, honor-roll academics, and my athleticism and strength. I have been regarded by many coaches numerous times as the hardest worker on their teams, and put forth the greatest amount of effort in every job I am given- whether that be in correcting an error in myself or in pushing harder to know that I am the best. I am extraordinarily competitive, and given any challenging environment, I will instantly adapt, changing any style to match and dominate those around me. As a 2-year captain of the Seaholm water polo team, I am making drastic reforms- something I've wanted to do since freshman year. Now that I have this power, I have changed the practice schedule include more rigorous practices, brought discipline and drive to out team, and have set our focuses high: a state title by my senior year. I will stop at nothing to achieve this now, and I hope that this stands as a great example of my potential and leadership, as I have picked up slack which our last captains let loose, and am now striving for perfection.
Additionally, I am in a multitude of leadership programs and love to interact with teammates. All of this is listed in the appropriate sections of this profile. In said profile, I am putting forth a very serious look at my statistics and abilities, but in real-life, I am excited and motivated, and as seen on all my high school teams, motivate and excite others. In addition to said leadership programs, I participate in a massive amount of academic honors, AP and extracurricular programs, and love school. I love the experience of learning with friends and bettering myself, and specifically, I love to write and learn about the Human mind (and thus would prefer schools with English and psychology programs). For these reasons, my dream school would be Columbia University, NY, and I will stop at nothing to achieve that goal.
In terms of college, I am hoping for a highly selective school academic-wise, and an average to selective athletic program. No matter the program, I will adapt and work hard until I surpass expectations, and once that is reached, I will set new expectations, and bring the rest of the team along to success.
For additional information about me, please refer to the extracurriculars and awards sections. I will also be adding more information as the year goes on, and as time permits (such as my work history, personal projects, goals, etc.). However, if you have direct inquiries or would like me to elaborate on anything, I will get back to you promptly.
Please note: the sections "weighted GPA and core GPA" refer to the corresponding areas (weighted and career" in the transcript, as the exact term "core" is not provided in it. Additionally, no cumulative GPA is yet provided by my school, as I have not completed junior year, and I also am unaware as to what it is at this time (not provided by school). I instead listed my current, in-school GPA.
