Personal Statement

Hello. My name is Eli Armstrong.  I am a Junior (class of 2024) at West Ottawa High School in Holland, Michigan.  I am a middle child of three boys that have grown up playing lacrosse both on the field and in the front yard.   I enjoy learning.  Academics and school have been important to me and I challenge myself in the classroom.  This is also true when it comes to the game of lacrosse.  I want to know the game so I can excel at the game.  I want to be a better person every day.  Being the middle son has taught me to be independent, self-motivated, and have intrinsic drive.  I feel these characteristics are exhibited in the way I play through work ethic, leadership, and teamwork.
