Nolan Benoit '20 Recruiting Profile

I am looking for a college that is close to home because family is very important to me. That is why I like team sports because the team resembles a family. My father introduced me to lacrosse when I was young, and I fell in love with it ever since. He has coached me since 4^th grade and has help develop me as the player and individual I am today. I have learned that through lacrosse that there are many instances where a player must face adversity and they either fall or overcome it with decisions that they make. Last season through hard work and dedication I was a varsity starter as a sophomore and currently holds the school all time scoring record with 47 goals. I also was selected 2^nd team all-county and 1^st team all-conference but my goals for this year are to get 1^st team all-county, 1^st team all-state and to lead my team to a conference championship.  I envision my college years to be a personal growth period. My goal is to explore a marketing major that will position me well for my career later. On the field, I plan to be a dynamic player and positive influence on the team. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college lacrosse career, I will strive to be an asset to the team, and to the offense set. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school I attend.
