Zachary Kuyava '20 Recruiting Profile

I'm looking for a collegiate program that will be able to compete at a high level and at the same time to allow me time for my studies.  I've lettered in Varsity LAX as a freshman, repeating that honor as a sophomore and a junior. I'm also a three time letter recipient with my  Varsity High School Hockey team playing at the Varsity level since my freshman year.  Lastly, I am the starting strong side linebacker for the Varsity H.S Football team since my junior year and I was name captain of the football team for the upcoming 2019 season.

I have been on the Executive Board for Student Council for two years, serving as Secretary this last year. I have received an Academic Letter for maintaining a GPA of higher than 3.7. I am also involved in LINK and WEB - organizations that help students adjust and be comfortable in the high school environment. 

In the summer, I play on a club team for lacrosse, as well as work at a country club on the weekends. I am a well rounded student athlete that has good leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. Many athletes excel in a single sport.  I have proven my athletic and leadership ability in multiple sports making me a more well rounded athlete and individual. I have an excellent work ethic,  good time management skills and I am a very coach-able player that is always looking to get better. I would be an asset for your collegiate program as both an athlete and as an academic scholar.
