I’m Hutton Murdoch and I’m in the 2020 graduating class at Clayton (MO) High School, one of the top academic college prep public high schools in the nation. I currently have a 3.0 GPA.
My passion for lacrosse started when I was 10 and my dad brought home a set of STX Fiddlesticks and we started throwing in the backyard. That backyard now has a full size goal, back stop net, bounce back and plenty of broken fence boards.
I play midfield but can also play a strong attack position. While I shoot right, I can also shoot left since I am naturally left-handed.
In my Sophomore year in lacrosse I was selected as Team Co-Captain, 1st Team All-Conference and Team MVP.
In addition to lacrosse I have also been swimming competitively for years, swimming almost every day. The 50 and 100 Free are my best strokes. I swim for a USA Swim club as well as my high school swim team. My freshman year I earned a varsity letter, qualified for state and set a school record. My sophomore year I again lettered, set and additional school record, qualified for state in multiple events and made the All-State Team twice as well as receiving First Team All-Suburban Conference Honors. My team finished 8th in State. My Junior year I again qualified for state and set an additional school record. My team finished 10th in state this year.
I take academics as seriously as athletics. My goal is to work my body as hard as my brain and with luck and hard work play lacrosse at the college level.
