Hello Coaches,
My name is Luke Reger and I am an incoming senior at Elkhorn South High School in Nebraska. I have been around the sport of lacrosse for a very long time and I always have loved it. I officially started playing my freshman year. I instantly fell in love with the game even more and I knew that I wanted to play as long as I possibly could. I have been putting in the work everyday to get better and become the best player that I can be in order to help not only me, but also my teammates. Being from Nebraska, getting recruited isn't always the easiest but it makes me have a chip on my shoulder to work harder than everyone else. I don't want to be known as the guy who is selfish and only cares about his own stats. I want to be known as the guy that is a team player and cares about the team more than himself. I am a string believer that the team comes first. My goal is to play at the college level and nothing will stop me from achieving that goal. I am willing to put in as much work as it takes and I am not afraid of a challenge. In addition, I take my academics just as seriously, if not more seriously, than my work on the field. I am extremely fortunate to have two parents that push me in the classroom before they push me to do better on the field. I am a student before I am athlete. Something that separates me from the competition is my underdog mentality. I am used to having to work harder than others to achieve my goals and most people I play against have been playing longer than I have. But I am willing to take whatever challenges I face head on and give it 110%.
