Hunter Mee '23 Recruiting Profile

I’ve been playing lacrosse for over ten years and love the sport. My senior season ended spectacularly. I was named USA Lacrosse All-American for a second year, was named the Region's Offensive Player of the Year along with multiple 1st Team honors and Team MVP for the 2nd year. My team also won the Northern Nevada Region Championships for the 3rd year and this year took the State Championship as well. I'm honored to have also been named USA Lacrosse All-Academic my Junior year and have played Varsity the last four years, finishing with an  89% face off average this year.  I show talent on the field and have been told that I am a ball carrier. I am proficient in any position and am often used where my coach needs strength but my primary position is face-off/attack. I’ve also been told I have a lot of drive and energy on the field and am looked to as an example. I am a coachable player and strive to up my game and increase my lacrosse IQ. 

Besides playing rec ball in Reno, NV, I have played travel ball with Booth out of the Bay Area and now play with Avalanche, a local Reno travel team. I have been recognized in tournaments as MVP. I am an honor student taking several dual credit college/honor/AP classes and am actively involved in my community, church, as well as a variety of other sports and am a member of my school's National Honor Society. I am also trained as a youth lacrosse official which allows me to give back to my lacrosse community and gives me the opportunity to work with the young players just learning the game.

I'm interested in Emergency Management/Fire Protection and would love to play lacrosse for a team that works well together and offers me an opportunity to make an impact. I’m excited about my future in lacrosse and can’t wait to find my college team.
