Hello, my name is Liam Copp and I am a native to Duxbury, Massachusetts and I am interested in playing lacrosse at the collegiate level. From grades 6-8, I attended Thayer Academy in Braintree, Massachusetts where I played football, hockey and lacrosse as well as playing hockey and lacrosse for Duxbury. After my freshman year at Thayer Academy I made the decision to change schools in search of a different experience and to prepare myself for college. I chose to attend New Hampton School in New Hampton, New Hampshire where I repeated my freshman year and was the only freshman to make the Varsity Lacrosse Team as a long stick midfielder. As a team we finished the season 21st in the nation and as Lakes Region Champions and I received an ALL- NEPSAC Honorable Mention for the 2016-17 season, which was rewarded to me by the Lakes Region coaches. On the field I pride myself on my speed and strength; off the field, I pride myself for my genuine interest and ability to get along with all my teammates. I know that I would be a great addition to anyone’s team because of my dedication and my ability to take direction from my coaches and make the necessary changes and then apply what I’ve learned into game situations. I like to drive myself to make an impact on the team in whatever way I possibly can; I am open to any types of school but am striving to attend a high academic school, where I would like to study business.
