Hello I am Sam Chilbert, I am 16 years old and am originally from Fairport, New York. Currently I attend a private boarding school in New England called New Hampton School, and have achieved high honor roll in in the classroom to this point. Growing up I was mostly a hockey player and competed competitively since I was five years old, however last spring I played for my schools lacrosse team and found a new passion in the game of lacrosse. I was fortunate to get a spot on 3D upstate lacrosse team and am currently playing on the 2026 team. Through pursuing lacrosse I have become a stronger individual, I've gone through let downs and upsets in lacrosse as well as joyful memories. My goal to be a college athlete is to bring a good presence to the team I play for as well as show my grit and determination on and off the field. Teams are built in family and I believe that I can help strengthen culture and spirit through the team. I believe I am a good candidate for a college lacrosse team because of my work ethic, commitment to the team, and my passion for lacrosse. Outside of lacrosse I have many goals in my life, and I strive for excellence my academics, social and family life, and work. In addition to sports I am a school tour guide, volunteer for the breast cancer walk, and work as a lifeguard.
