My name is Chase Mendyk, I will be graduating Lower Cape May Regional High School in 2018. I am currently 6'2" and roughly 174 lbs. I play attack for Lower which was a big transition since I had played midfield for 4 years prior to high school. My freshmen year in 2015 I began the role of the offensive midfielder coming in and out of the games switching with the LSM. I was unhappy for the fact that I did not get the desired time on varsity so I began working harder in practice and eventually got a starting attack spot on varsity three games into the season. I finished my freshman year with 14 goals and 7 assists. The next year in the 2016 season at attack I compiled another 33 goals and 16 assists. This year I am looking for more success as the Captain of the Caper Tigers and have a goal to get my GPA to a 3.1. Just like the starting spot I wanted my freshman year, I worked for what was desired and I acquired my goal. The end of my Sophomore year I had finished with a 2.4 GPA and I knew I needed change. As of the first marking period my GPA had climbed to a 2.6 and I am feeling very confident for the future.
