I aspire to be a part of an athletic but most importantly an academic environment that challenges me. I am driven by the passion I have for the game of lacrosse and I strive for excellence on and off the field.
I began playing lacrosse when I was ten years old with Monroe Lacrosse recreational team. In high school, I made the varsity team my freshman year and am currently a starter as a Junior.
For summer and fall tournaments I’ve committed to playing with New Jersey Lacrosse Club’s (NJLC) 2019 team. Additionally, I participate in fall and winter Lacrosse leagues with my high school team. Lacrosse is my #1 sport but in the winter I also play rec basketball.
In my spare time I volunteer with our recreational program to help develop the younger generation of players and improve our program overall. Through giving back to the community I feel I'm showing all the coaches, that also volunteered to teach me, how much I appreciate all that they have taught me. The fundamentals, the IQ and team build experience I have learned and received from all the great coaches, have made me a better player, team mate and a leader.
Currently I'm undecided on a major but considering pursing sports trainer/medicine, physical therapy, business and engineering in my college career as well as continuing to play lacrosse. I understand how crucial academics and the power of knowledge are to the foundation of a successful life. Most importantly, I realize that everyday there is improvement needed on and off the field and I have the ambition to work hard to achieve my goals.
