My name is John Caldiero, and I am a sophomore scholar athlete at Moorestown High School in Moorestown, NJ. If I were to summarize what embodies me both athletically and academically, I would look back at an award I was given by my 5th grade lacrosse coach. The award was titled MR. COACHABLE. I didn't quite understand what this meant at the time, but as I continue to progress and to grow in this wonderful game, I now realize what a compliment this was and it still holds true. I am a defensive player, but have the ability to transition from LSM to close D. I have even have been called on to take face-offs. As my coaches have said, “John is a Swiss Army Knife.” I will do whatever is asked of me by my coaches and will give 100 percent at all times. I am an individual that continues to thrive and to succeed through coaching.. I am the scholar who in elementary school needed extra support, and now as a high schooler, takes AP and Honors classes. My skills that stand out on the field are ground balls, clears, stick skills, and speed. My academic abilities that stand out in school are in the fields of Math and Business. I currently maintain a GPA of 3.73. I am ready and eager to play lacrosse at the next level at a strong academic college. I am ready for my next level of being coached. I will not disappoint.
