As a 2024 Attackman, I began playing lacrosse at seven years old. Playing travel lacrosse for the past seven years, I’ve participated in several activities to prepare for the season including team training, winter leagues, strength/speed training, and track. Each one has helped me to grow as an athlete.
Being coachable is something many of the coaches that I’ve had the privilege of working with have commented on within my game, and this made me even more aware of its importance as I seek to play at the next level. Another trait I bring to the game is my vision of the field. I can evaluate and act on potential situations quickly. It is a critical skill to success at attack and offensive midfield. I believe my vision, knowledge of the game, versatility, team player mentality, and coachability is something very powering and valuable to my passion of giving 110% on each rep and overall getting better.
I believe some of those traits help me off the field too. Looking to my future, I realize that to be successful, I need to take my education seriously. Academics have been a critical part of me as a student athlete and will impact my future success. With a 4.0 unweighted GPA while taking honors and AP courses in math, science, computer science, history, and business. I know that I cannot sacrifice academics so my aspiration is to be successful at both.
Thank you for your consideration
