I started playing recreational lacrosse in 3rd grade and was the leading assister and scorer from 5th grade through 8th. I started playing T3 (travel) in 5th grade, playing both midfield and attack (mainly midfield). I was a varsity starter for Princeton Day School (high school) since freshman year. I am proud of my field awareness, shooting with both hands, dodging, giving my teammates crips passes/assists, hustle, and man-on-man defense. I also play on Princeton Day School's varsity field hockey and basketball team-- I started field hockey my freshman year and have been playing basketball since 3rd grade as well.
My academic life is extremely important to me, and I constantly give effort and want to be challenged at the highest level. In middle school, I got all A's, and while my high school doesn't have an Honor Role program, my grades are equivalent to what a traditional high school honor program would award. I absolutely love biology, chemistry, and math. I want to go into the medical profession (either neurosurgery in the operating room or genetics in a lab) and am looking for a school that has pre-med programs.
I am extremely involved in volunteering whenever given the opportunity. Because lacrosse is my number one focus outside of school, I dedicate most of my time to assistant coaching 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade girls recreational lacrosse. Along with that, I help out in local food drives and water/road clean ups, and I'm an active member in my school's Red Cross Club and Environmental Action Club. I love giving back to my community and volunteering is at the core of who I am! My hobbies include photography, reading, and piano.
