My parents have raised me to be a compassionate honest hardworking individual who always strives to do my personal best with character and dignity. I have committed myself to the sport of lacrosse for many years due to the complete love of the sport. I have played as a goalie in lacrosse for the last 8 years. As a goalie on the field, I feel confident I can instruct and guide my defensive men to the ultimate defense with my years of knowledge and training. I am comfortable voicing myself in a constructive manner to maintain tight control of the defensive zone. I have a keen sense of visualization of the ball and pride myself on my intensity on the field. I play lacrosse for the high school team and continue with club lacrosse year-round. I received the coaches award Freshman year for high school lacrosse, and feel proud of that recognition. I work part-time in a restaurant and have gained many valuable experiences. I recently worked in the restaurant through the Covid pandemic to help keep the restaurant open for business via takeout. During the pandemic, our restaurant donated and provided food to the local healthcare heroes at the local hospital. It was a challenge keeping the restaurant open and running properly while being safe. I volunteer and participate in all athletic fundraisers for lacrosse in high school. This past year I was presented with an award of recognition as the top fundraiser for the 2020 Morris Knolls Lax team. I enjoy fishing, biking, kayaking on the lake, and long road trips with my family. I am in the engineering track at my high school, due to my interest in Math and Science, and feel I would like to study Engineering or Architecture in the future at college. Both Engineering and Architecture are fields I think I could excel in and offer many opportunities that pique my interest. I just completed a Computer-Aided Design course this past year at school and really enjoyed it. I designed an apartment and printed a 3D module of it. I hope that school will resume in September as I have missed attending high school and look forward to getting back to school.
