I have been playing tennis since I was 8 years old. I love the game and the excitement it stirs up. I am determined to develop my tennis career to its full potential both on and off the court, grow not only as athletes but also as an individual. While my goal is to attend an academically challenging college where I can prepare myself for my future career, I am also very interested in playing tennis at the college level.
I am playing first singles on the varsity team since my freshman year, after winning six matches against junior and senior players. Throughout high school, I have balanced a busy and very demanding AP/honors academic schedule with tough daily tennis commitments and still manage to have a social life.
As the Captain of my varsity team, I have had the opportunity to serve as a role model for my teammates by leading with a positive attitude, fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie, and encouraging hard work. I am a great speaker and a motivational teammate that love to receive and give advice.
I am looking to play college tennis with high level of academics. I hope to join a team that allows me to contribute to the school’s future winning traditions while encouraging me to grow not only as a tennis player, but also as a scholar.
