Making the state playoffs my freshman year was an experience that has helped shape me as a player. Winning our first playoff game in school, and conference history was an accomplishment I will always remember. Even our second round, triple overtime game was not the game that shaped me, but the loss we had in the third round. While we did lose the game, we weren't expected to even come close, but competing with them at a high level showed me that the outcome is never decided. Ever since 2nd grade when I started playing, I've always had a go-for-gold attitude. Whether going for a ground ball or a goal, I keep the game work ethic, which I try to help set an example for players around me. Being a two-sport athlete I've had experience balancing sports, while keeping excellent grades, and plan to do the same thing at the collegiate level. In college, I am not only looking to further my lacrosse career, but also further my education. Throughout school so far, education has been my top priority. While I would love to keep playing lacrosse at a high level, I also want to attend a university where I can focus business and economics to eventually begin a career in that field.
