I feel that athletics is a true testament to a person's ability to make decisions, have willpower, and the idea to see that practice and preparation do lead to success. As a lacrosse player and being involved in motorsports, both of these have been able to show me that without the dedication, the extra hours, the grinding away, no one would be able to have success in any form of sport, or career, or simply life. I am a person that does not need to be pushed but can rather push myself using my own motives. My teammates are my family. Once we all step out onto that field, we either win as a team, improve as a team, or lose as a team. Life throws adversity at each and every one of us, and we have to be ready to overcome the impossible. I have had to prepare in school multiple times, but that extra effort has allowed me to get multiple grades that are at the highest level. I will always be ready to work, any day of the week, and any place, I will be ready.
