Ian Epstein '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Ian and I am goalie playing for New Albany High School. I am right hand dominant but play sports left. I love the game of Lacrosse and have been playing the position of goalie since 5th grade which is when I started.I have a great respect for the game and a high lacrosse IQ. I have been playing Varsity since freshman year, and have been starting since Sophomore year. I am a very active and engaged player and enjoy running up field when necessary to make a play. I value possession and I will do anything I can to help my team maintain it. I am a positive person and like to be a leader on the team. I enjoy travel lacrosse and currently play for Haymakers  LC. I have worked with several Goalie coaches including Stephan Schroeder and  Kevin Duffy who are both former  goalies at Ohio State. I am constantly working to better myself and my skill set. I would love the opportunity to continue playing the game of lacrosse at the next level. I hope to be an asset to a collegiate level team where I can continue to grow and learn.
