Derek Sutton '20 Recruiting Profile

I am planning to get an Aeronautical Engineering degree which will help with my goal as to becoming a pilot in the United States Air Force.   I currently have a 3.771 GPA and take several honors courses.  A few of my accomplishments this season are: being nominated for Division 1 Region 1 All Region Team and leading my team on defense with the 64 ground balls, 1 assist and 1 goal.  

I feel I am a good candidate for a collegiate team, I am ready to learn and willing to work hard.  I love the game and want to continue to grow not only as a player but as a person. I feel that lacrosse has helped me become a leader, be more assertive and having confidence in my abilities.   I enjoy all aspects of the game from learning, skill and teamwork to the camaraderie of the players.
