Ever since I was young, I have been playing the sport of lacrosse. Although most of it had been in house league, I can confidently say that I have a mastery of the basics and am able to perform well in most scenarios. In 2019 I lost confidence in my game as most other kids quickly outgrew me in the sport. It wasn’t until 2022 when I decided that I would try field lacrosse, and to play for the first time in several years. I decided that long-pole was the best choice for me, and I quickly excelled at that position. Since then my confidence in my game has quickly risen again and I am ready to test out my skills at a higher level than before.
Within school, I have never excelled at many subjects. Although my grades do not always reflect it, I always persevere and try my hardest at everything I do. Recently I have discovered that if there is a subject that I really enjoy, I will put as much effort as I can into it. this attitude towards subjects, I found, is also often reflected in other things such as lacrosse and my various hobbies.
Thanks for going through my profile,
Logan Garside
