Lacrosse has taught me that if I put my mind to something and be consistent, I will almost always achieve my goal. For example, I am continuously looking for new ways to broaden my skills in multiple positions, and I have recognized that participating in other sports and athletic activities has and will help me on the lacrosse field. My parents, friends, and coaches have deeply influenced how I act and carry myself as a student athlete by driving me to be the best player possible and making sure that I am consistently working to improve myself on the field while maintaining a high GPA in the process.
While having to sacrifice some family vacations, as a team, my family and I have agreed that playing summer and fall lacrosse would and has helped me gain experience, improve my skills, and expose me to competitive play that helps me move toward my goal of playing lacrosse as a college athlete.
My experience playing Lacrosse has also helped me to develop my skills in leadership, and to recognize the values of honesty and integrity, on and off the field. These values and my commitment to my future will help me to reach my current goals of graduating high school with a 4.0 GPA and furthering my college education while participating and in college athletics.
