I am a multi-sport athlete who has been playing lacrosse since I was 10 years old. I have been fortunate to play for some incredible coaches who have helped build my lacrosse skills as well as my enthusiasm for the game. I have played with and against some of the best players and teams in the Baltimore metro area and the greater Mid-Atlantic region.
My freshman year I worked hard enough to make the varsity lacrosse team at Dallastown High School, however the season was shut-down before the first game due to COVID-19. I decided to use that time to work with trainers to improve my strength and conditioning, as well as my skills and lax IQ. I was excited to make it back on the field to play my sophomore year, and earned the Coach's Award for Unsung Hero of the 2021 season.
I have been a two year starter on the varsity football team. In the fall of 2021 I was named 2nd Team All-Conference (YAIAA Division I) as an outside linebacker, and GameTime PA All-Star Team Honorable Mention. As a running back I rushed for almost 600 yards this season, averaging 5.3 yards per carry. I also use that speed and footwork on the lacrosse field as a threatening dodger, who can finish strong with a shot or a dish. I am often used as a wing on faceoffs because of my speed, strength, and hunger to win ground balls. I am not afraid to get physical.
I enjoy nothing more than playing lacrosse with a group of teammates that have good chemistry, good skill, and most importantly, good attitudes. I pride myself on my work ethic and always wanting to improve both on the field and in the classroom. My coaches would describe me as "coachable" and "gritty", and no one outworks me at practices.
I am a Distinguished Honor student, in the top 25% of my class, and keep a challenging schedule that includes Honors and AP classes. I am proud to be a member of the Special Olympics Club at Dallastown High School, who's Unified Sports Program has been recognized as a National Banner School. I also actively participate in Future Business Leaders of America and volunteer in my community.
I am looking for a lacrosse program at a college that best fits me as a student-athlete...where I can contribute on the field and thrive in the classroom. I am planning to study in the field of Business (Accounting, Finance, Marketing).
