My name is Andrew Deviney and I am from Pottstown, PA. I am a member of the Class of 2022 at Bishop Shanahan High School in Downingtown, PA. My primary positions are LSM and Defense.
At he end of my freshman year at Owen J Roberts, where I played on the Varsity Lacrosse and 9th grade Football Teams. Several of my club coaches and parents strongly recommended that I look at school alternatives that would help me to strengthen both my academic and lacrosse abilities. After a long search I transferred to the Calverton School in Huntingtown, MD. My experience here was great and in the process of adapting to a small private boarding school, the Covid Pandemic hit and after a single game, we were all sent home for the remainder of the school year.
With the uncertainty of the future of Calverton I was then faced with the task of locating to a third school in three years. I decided on Bishop Shanahan High School. I couldn't be happier. The strong religious values as well as face to face learning has been a great experience. I hope my two years here will continue to help me grow both Academically and Athletically so I am ready for the opportunity to play lacrosse at the next level.
