My name is Connor Mann. I am 5’11” 165lb attackman/offensive midfielder and hold a 3.1 GPA. I presently play for Team 11, NTX Box Lacrosse, and as a guest player for Bucks Select and Dukes Mainline LC. This past summer I was invited to play with Trilogy ICE, but due to the COVID-19 Pandemic this was cancelled. This past year while attending Trilogy Gettysburg Tournament, I was selected to play in the All-star game. At this past summers NXT Showcase, I was selected to play in the All-Star game. All of my games from this past summer have been videoed. Our most successful Tournament this past summer with Team 11 was at the Delaware Sports Turf in Fredericka Delaware.
After an application process, review of my highlight films and attendance at a Legends Lacrosse Clinic, I was selected by Coaches Cady and Harrison to play for Legends 18 and will be traveling to California in December to play in Del Mar at the Legends National Cup.
I have been invited to play and have played Box Lacrosse in Canada and the Onondaga Nation in New York and have been told by Canadian box Lacrosse coaches that I could easily play for any top ranked Canadian Box Team.
My Bucks Select Coach said, “In all of my years coaching, I have never seen such a young player have such an advanced lacrosse IQ.” At an early age and when I can first remember, I have loved every aspect of the game both on and off the field. I study game films, study the plays from many college and professional teams and study individual athletes from all sports.
I contribute my determination and commitment to the seven years of Mixed Martial Arts training where I have competed very successfully in several competitions throughout that time. The fear of going into a competition is nerve racking, knowing you are going to fight someone with the same or higher skills and all they want to do is beat you up and win.
As a Freshman in High School at Lansdale Catholic in PA, I was the leading scorer with 43 goals and 9 assists. These past two seasons, I was one of the leading scorers on Team 11 and NXT Box. Towards the end of this past summer and going into my Junior year of high school, I was selected to be a Captain.
Having competed on various teams, I have learned what is means to be a part of a culture that promotes teamwork, hard work both on and off the field and the importance developing many meaningful relationships along the way. I have a passion and love for all aspects of the game and all athletics in general which is the reason why I plan to pursue a College Major in Sports Management. I will always strive to be better than I was yesterday.
