2025 Graduate Class- Riley Bissett
I've grown up in Prince Edward Island, Canada where I've grown up with a stick in my hand from a very young age. I've had the opportunity to play at several national championships and a number of tournaments inter provincially and internationally. I additionally play Jr.A box lacrosse for the Saint John Rapids in the ECJLL. Such experiences and opportunities have given me exposure to different coaching and play styles and teammates helping me to become a more dynamic player from both the extension of my box foundational skill set and improve my adaptability in a field environment. I am also a multi sport athlete, playing high level hockey and part of 5 high school sports teams.

I am committed to being my best in the classroom (95% average) while additionally volunteering within my community in areas such as youth skating programs, my local church, and coaching and refereeing lacrosse. I've shown consistency in academics and a relentless work ethic in early morning runs, hours in the gym, and everyday reps in the backyard. I've honed my stick skills through countless wall ball hours and and box lacrosse roots. Such a skill set stands as one hard to replicate and I believe separates me from the typical prep school athlete.
With my 2025 high school graduation quickly approaching, I look to pursue a post secondary education where I can continue to play lacrosse at a high level and be able to finish my education studying in the biology area. I am willing to put in the effort on and off the field. Living in Atlantic Canada, distance from home is factor needed to be taken into consideration but nonetheless is a sacrifice I am willing to make. I am very excited to find a home that can help me pursue my academic and athletic goals and look forward to learn from my classmates, teammates, and coaches.
Thank you for your consideration,
Riley
