Josh Giarratano '12 Recruiting Profile

I weigh 170 pounds, I'm 5'11", i play goalie in three sports, Soccer, Hockey, and Lacrosse. I start Varsity for every sport in net. I am the goalie for every mens sport in my school that has a goaltending position. I Started playing goal in Lacrosse in 7th grade, i do not believe in anything that takes away pain from getting hit with the ball, doing so I've learned to not be afraid of it. Going into 9th grade I tried out for the Lacrosse team, started in net over a junior who has been playing goal longer, and had a fair season as a freshman, that year our team got it's first winning record in the program's history. (Toll Gate High School) In 10th grade I started again, I lead Rhode Island in saves. I can throw the ball 90 yards, i can hit a stick on the run from 40- 50 yards. I Made Modell's Athlete of The Week which normally is given to upperclassmen. I also made All Division 2nd team as a sophomore. I am looking to play Lacrosse in any division, i Just want to play at the next level because i believe that i can be a great attribute. Location of the school does not matter. I am in need of financial aid. I am majoring in accounting my freshman year.
