2020 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I have been playing ice hockey since I was five years old. Since the first day I put on skates, I have looked up to my older siblings, cousins, and NHL players. It has been a goal of mine to play at the collegiate level, and I have been working hard all my life to achieve that goal. I know how to be a leader and be a team player. I am also very easy to coach. I respect my coaches' guidance and instruction.
Regarding school, I am a three sport athlete, so I learned to balance my academics and sports. I am in honors and AP classes and sustain a high grade point average. I also volunteer at my church on Sundays as a teacher for a fifth grade Religious Education class. I would like to pursue a career in education and become a coach some day, as well.
