Jackson Reese '22 Recruiting Profile

Coaches,

     My name is Jackson Reese and I currently am a Junior at Bluffton High School. I am the starting goalie for Bluffton High’s Varsity team and I have started since my Freshman year.  In total, I have played lacrosse for 8 years, however, I have been playing goalie for 4 of those years. Before playing goalie, I played Midfield and Defense, but mostly Defense.

   On and off the field, I am an extremely hard worker. I push myself and my teammates to the best of our ability in the weight room, field, locker room, and classroom. With many new players that join our team each season, I like to encourage the players, teach them, and give them tips whenever the coaches are not coaching. In the classroom, I also make sure to turn all my work in on time and have it complete. Everyday I try and work on making myself a better Lacrosse player, whether that is working on my stick skills, being in the weight room, or watching film. One of my favorite hobbies is weightlifting because I believe it makes me a mentally and physically stronger person. 

    Academically, I am ahead of regular students in my grade. In 8th grade, I started taking high school classes and took all the high school classes they offered in middle school. I took English 1 Honors, Algebra 1 Honors, Spanish 1, and Earth Science Honors. Freshman year, I took English 2 Honors, Geometry Honors, Spanish 2, and Biology, which are Sophomore level classes. 

    My interest is to be a NCAA student athlete and attend a university or college that will offer me good academics, as well as, 4 years of competitive lacrosse.
