As the son of two D1 athletes, I’ve seen the traits required to be successful in life, both on and off the field, modeled through them. Putting those into practice, I’ve been able to get early wins as a sophomore. While playing multiple sports, I’m gathering my own experience and developing these skills. Lacrosse became a priority in my life in the 5th grade when I first picked up a stick. With my mom being from New York, where lacrosse is prevalent, she introduced me to the sport by taking me to camps in Syracuse. In my early years of playing, I focused on the basics and tried every position. When first starting to play, attack was the position I wanted to play most. Scoring was my biggest drive, having the most goals out of anyone. My freshman year of high school my coach moved me to midfield and at first I was upset. The more I played the more I realized that outsmarting or outplaying the opponent on both the offensive and defensive side of the field is the best feeling. Academically, I am looking for a University that will help me develop a solid foundation for my career path.
