I have been playing lacrosse since I was in third grade. I am very coachable, have great agility, speed and body awareness. I am a multi-sport athlete. I run varsity track, and play varsity football. I ran lead off for my 4x100m (400m), 4x200m (800m) and 4x400m (1600m) relay teams that advanced to the regional track meet this year. I have also been on a summer league swim team since I was five and spent three years as a competitive diver when I was in elementary school.
I always try to make an impact on the field by hustling and being a team leader. This was the first year for my high school lacrosse team. I helped guide my teammates during practice and games so they could become more aware of what was happening on the field. Since I did not have a team to play on my freshman year, I stayed involved by volunteering as an assistant for our 5th and 6th graders during practice and games.
I study hard and make an effort to take pre AP, AP and dual credit classes so I will be better prepared to tackle college classes. I have participated in band and also take jobs to do yard work and dog sit in my local area.
I want to attend a college that will push me in the classroom and help me develop the skills I need to be successful in the real world. Being part of a lacrosse team will also help me become better prepared to accomplish this goal. I want to be successful both on and off the field.
