I have always enjoyed and thrived in the spirit of competition. I was captain of my golf and lacrosse teams and I know what it takes to be respected by my peers as a leader and as a player. 

As captain of my teams, I led my teammates in a weekly group discussion about faith and inspiration.  Eventually, it became evident that our team was growing closer together. We were no longer just a group of guys competing for our school, we were brothers who shared a common passion and a common goal . That sense of brotherhood is what drives our team. I am there for my teammates and there is comfort in knowing that they are there for me.

I would be a valuable asset to your team because I would work to help instill a greater sense of unity within the team. I enjoy the hard work necessary to succeed and I will do whatever it takes for the good of the team.
