2019 HighlightsPersonal Statement
The most defining moment of my lacrosse career to date is sitting the bench in my freshman year of high school. I had just taken up the sport, but had worked hard for months to prepare for the season. Because of this I was shocked when I found myself on the sideline for the first half of the season. An injury in our close defense allowed me to step into the starting lineup, and finally my perseverance paid off. I continued to work hard throughout the season, and became a regular starter the following season as well. Even in the face of difficulty, the choice to remain diligent and give my all in practice prepared me for the chance I was given.
