Lacrosse is a huge part of my life, as a player and a fan of the game. I started playing in 1st grade, when my brother's coaches pulled me into practice, rather than leave me on the sidelines watching. I started officially playing the next year as a second grader on the 3rd/4th grade team. Because of my size I have often played a year ahead of my age.
I am a natural leader. My role on my True Wisconsin U-15 summer team, when I was the youngest member of the team, was to pump up and push the older kids. This year, as one of three returning players, I was encouraged to run warm-ups, have a vocal role in huddles, and lead the team in scoring. While we did not have captains, my coaches would tell you that I served that role on and off the field.
My goal is to play competitive lacrosse while attending a college that challenges me academically. That has been my goal for as long as I can remember. I am a hard worker on the field and in the classroom as you will see from my tape and my grades. I'm an eager learner both on and off the field, and an active participant in both. I look forward to talking to college coaches to learn more about life as a college athlete.
