Lacrosse is more than a game to me. Being diagnosed with leukemia 10 years ago and told I would never be able to play lacrosse was devastating however I used this as my drive to beat my cancer. I understand the importance of every single day and work diligently to be a success on and off the field. I do not squander my opportunities and am determined to be the best I can every day. I understand my weaknesses and strive to better them; standardized testing is difficult for me but I have fought hard to achieve an above 4 point GPA and fully plan to continue my academic success. Next to my family, I truly believe the biggest reason I have managed to beat my cancer and excel in learning is my continued participation in the Medicine Game; not playing is not an option. What I continue to develop pales in comparison on my coach-ability, determination, and perseverance. It would be my honor to continue my experiences with and for you at your school.
