When I first started rowing in my freshman year of high school, I was not too fond of it one bit. It had intense training, long training hours, and I did not feel like I belonged there. After the first season was over, I decided I might give it another try, since I realized that I did make new friendships from the sport and I wanted to continue. My love of the sport continued to grow as I was more involved in it.
My teammates would describe me as a hardworking, helpful, and very patient person. As I learned to love rowing, I learned to work harder and harder because I wanted to achieve better results. Whenever there is work to be done, I am there to help. Patience is one of my strongest traits. If I don't get my desired results, I won't get upset, but I will get motivated to try harder!
I hope to find a team where I can continue my experience in rowing while earning my degree because it has become such a significant impact on my life.
