I currently row purely indoor by myself but I am looking to join a team soon and try rowing on the water. I won the region championships at the Atlanta erg sprints for the junior men age 15. Rowing at the college level would be such an honor and I would really love to be able to help a team grow and perform.
I have done multiple leadership training camps either participating or staffing them. I am in the Boyscout so I have learned a lot of valuable skills that could lead a team.
I study hard in the classroom to try and keep a high GPA and work on my leadership training. I also volunteer at different camps working on my leadership skills.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and in rowing. I am open to all options closer to home and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model for all my peers and make my parents proud.
