Personal Statement

Doing high school rowing has taught me many important lessons in life. I always knew I wanted to row telling my 8th grade swim coaches that as soon as I'm old enough I would follow my brothers footsteps and join the PNRA crew. However, it wasn't until the start of the summer season going into sophomore year that I became really enamored. Through my Coach and elder brother I learned about dedication, hard work, and most importantly being tough. Each day I went to practice I focused on improving my self and eventually I achieved one of my greatest accomplishments and won Mid-Atlantic regionals in the U17 4+ alongside some of my closets friends. Coach Jamie has always told us to be tough and hold ourselves accountable each day, and each day I strive to do just that.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
