I'm a heavyweight junior rower at Canisius High School with a history in swimming throughout my grade school years. I started rowing at the beginning of my Freshman year. I was shocked at how demanding rowing was when I started, but I always like a challenge. Through the years, I've developed strong friendships with my teammates. The time we spend together in they gym working out, on the ergs and on the water has formed friendships that will last my entire life. I currently race in the Canisius 2V and am pushing for a seat in the 1V. I row equally as well on either side of the boat.
Canisius only runs erg times a couple of time a year. I expect winter timing will happen soon and will post times as soon as they are available. Canisius usually times at 6k with the occasional 2k. I expect to post a video of my erg rowing in the next few weeks.
In my college years rowing, I hope to continue with my high level fitness, to make any boat I row in faster and to make lifelong friends/teammates.
I plan on taking the January 2014 SAT and the March 2014 SAT. My goal is to have the best possible SAT score after the March 2014 test. I am working with a one on one test prep program to help me achieve my goal.
Some extracurriculars that I partake in are the Wall Street Club and the Church choir at my parish. I am a practicing Catholic and a devout rower.
