In college I plan to go into engineering and row on the colleges crew. I think i am a good candidate because I have been rowing for 6 years and was ranked 22nd in the nation for the mens lightweight 2x in 2014. This year, 2015, I have placed 3rd in my region in the same event with a 7:28 2k time. At the national completion this year, 2015, I was ranked 20th in the nation with a 7:34 2k time. I am extremely dedicated to crew and my future as a rower. I am determined to work hard to achieve my goal of becoming an automotive engineer. I am one of my coaches most trusted team members and have dedicated most all of my time and energy to rowing and learning about engineering. Crew brings meaning to my life. I try to support my crew like a family because i believe that the people you row with are your family. Everyone of my crew mates is a brother or a sister to me. I hope to bring this comrodery to the college level on a college crew. When I am not rowing I am interning at Northrop Grumman Corporation or working at Spinoza's Gormete pizzas and salads to pay my club fees.
