I am a 6’5” 215 lbs Canadian sophomore. I am a multi sport athlete in high school. Track (thrower), Football (quarterback and punter) Basketball (Centre) and hockey (defenseman).
I attended the RBC talent combine and was identified by Rowing Canada as a future Next Generation athlete. I was invited to test at the national/provincial rowing center in Welland to test specifically for rowing. My results were very good according to the National coordinator and rowing Canada has identified me as a future member. I have never done a 2k test before or had any training for it. My first test I rowed 2k in 7:10. I know I will get much better at it but it will take time. I have worked with Chris Marshall and Laurance Cote (Rowing Canada) to get me up to speed in this new sport that I am excited to try.
