Personal Statement
I love the sport of rowing and I am committed to improving my technique and fitness to prepare for collegiate level crew. Because my high school does not have a crew team, I drive myself a half hour each day to and from practice at the Whitemarsh Boat Club. I am also committed to strength training to fill out my frame in the weight room and I am continuing to shatter my personal bests on the erg.
I am looking for an academically challenging college or university that will prepare me for medical school and where I can be a strong contributing member of a competitive men's crew team.
