My main goals for collegiate rowing are to be a part of a team and culture which shares my work ethic on and off the water. I am currently in my 5th year of rowing, and I have swam for a club team for nine. Over the years I have learned lots about hard work, consistency, and what it takes to succeed both in the pool, boat, and in life. Whether I was grinding out my 100,000th yard in the pool over winter training, finishing a 16k on the water before an exam, or spending late nights studying for those exams, I know that I have the work ethic and mental strength that it takes to become great rower. This past fall I have also earned my Eagle Scout cumulating my scouting career with having to lead a project. During the project I learned skills in leading both older and younger scouts, and I learned valuable lessons in leading not only scouts but also adults during our trip to Philmont in the summer of 21' on which I was the crew leader. I believe that my combined work ethic and leadership experience will make me a great collegiate rower and addition to any team.
