I believe that there are no bad teams, only bad leaders, because of this, I strive to be a strong leader on my team and someone who sets the example of good behavior for everyone else. I am a trustworthy person who is loyal to my teammates. I always look for opportunities to be helpful. I am a good friend and am courteous and kind to all. I am cheerful on the most dismal of days. I respect my coaches and mentors. I take care of my equipment and myself. I do my best to be the greatest person I can be. I believe that on your college rowing team, I can be the same person I am on my high school rowing team, a powerful leader.
