Kevin Vertz '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Kevin Vertz and I am a senior at Delta High School in Delta Junction, Alaska. 

I was born in Eschenbach, Germany and lived there for 12 years before before moving to Alaska.  I have been playing soccer since I was in the second grade, and started to play more competitively in my last years of middle school.  I have competed in many sports throughout my life, such as swim and baseball.  I am a hard worker, self motivated, and will never give up.  I always want to put the team first, I work well with others and I really strive for excellence in everything that I do and I'm not afraid to put in the time to reach my goals.  I have played under many different coaches and coaching styles.  I consider myself to be a very versatile player, having had great success in every position that I played.

In the past 4 years I've been training very hard and joined various different clubs during the off season.   Our High School team has been undefeated for most of our seasons.  During the summer this year I was excepted onto the UPSL Fairbanks SC semi pro team and had the opportunity to be coached by and trained with players from all over the world, at all levels from college to professional. 

I am very determined and hope to have the opportunity to play at a college level.
