Julian Dziuda '19 Recruiting Profile

When I was fifteen, I made a major life decision to leave my home in Canada to move to Poland so that I could pursue my dream of playing professional soccer. My time here has been challenging and has required a lot of courage, determination, and faith in God to help me along the way. I have had opportunities to grow as a student-athlete and have matured from a boy into an energetic young adult. Being in Poland, I have learned valuable lessons in self-discipline, organization, determination, and self-confidence. My harsh environment has forced me to take on a new perspective and stand up for myself, not backing down from any challenge. I hope to take all that I have learned, as well as my excellent grades and improved athletic self to a program that has a high standard for athletics and education. My goal for university is to keep or improve on my standard of excellence in the classroom and to continue growing as a player on the soccer field. I also look forward to learning even more about myself and developing meaningful relationships with my new coach and new teammates. I will do my best to lift them up, and I am sure they will do the same for me. My life has prepared me for any obstacle or challenge that I face, and I know I have what it takes to be a key figure on your team.
