Javier Aguilar '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Javier Aguilar and at this current moment I am enrolled at Empower College Prep High School. My goal is to one day play as a professional soccer player. Not only that but to show myself how to be more responsible, and to also have a lot of more discipline since that’s a very important key in soccer. My main goal is to actually show my parents that I have made it to where I wanted to be, to show them that putting in all my effort and knowledge to what I love doing, actually helped.

What makes me a good candidate though is that I’m always on time to where I have to be. Not only that but I am also a person in which is very responsible and shows a lot of leadership in and out of the field. I’m always committed to what I have to do. If I don’t do something right, I make sure that the next time I do it, I will do it better. 

What makes me different from other recruits in character is that I love being a person that shows a lot of teamwork. I don’t like the fact that sometimes there is players that leave out other team mates, just because they don’t like them. For me it’s different because I see that everyone is part of the team, and if someone scores a goal, doesn’t mean it’s just that independent person that did the job. It was everyone as a team that created the plays to score that goal.  

What makes me different from athletics is that I’m a person that likes to help out. Even if they don’t ask for it, I always make sure to ask so like that everyone meets the goal that they need to pass so we are all on the same page.  Finally I’m different from other recruits academic because I’m a person that depends on that a lot. I’m a person that if I see my grades are low, I got to make sure that same week my grades go back up so like that I get to where I want to be.
