Christopher Buczek '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, 

My goals and aspirations are currently to play soccer at a university that offers Biomedical Engineering. Some of the qualities that make me a good candidate for your team are my hard work, dedication, passion, and coachability. I put in countless hours on and off the field working to get better, from early mornings to late nights. I have been the captain of multiple soccer teams such as being, the captain of AZSC 05B 2nd Team and AZSC 05B 1st Team. I'm currently working on a spot for the captain of the PRFC U19B ECNL team. I work well with my teammates and know how to communicate effectively and quickly from the center-back position.  I think quickly and stay 2 steps ahead of my opponents. As an outside-back, I bring an attacking presence by overlapping and driving the ball up the line. In addition to attacking, I bring an aggressive defensive style, preventing crosses and through balls. I put 100% into everything I do. 

        A portion of the things that make me different from other recruits includes my character, leadership, overall scholarship, and academic prowess. I have been an Honors student since 6th grade, now I'm taking IB classes alongside being part of the National Honors Society.  I have all A's and strive to be at the top of my class. My current GPA is 4.485/4 and I'm ranked 10/45. I like to have a healthy mix of education and sports, so I can be a student-athlete. I put my heart into every activity and always strive to do my best.
